Thank you for inquiring about Riverview Christian School! I prayerfully invite you to explore our website and entertain the idea of whether Riverview Christian School is the right fit for your child. We strive to train up our students in the ways of the Lord, as Proverbs 22:6 tells us to. We do this by teaching biblical truth through Service, Relationship, and Academics. God has brought together an incredibly talented and experienced staff that is committed to these kids and their future. Each teacher and staff member is dedicated to the plan that the Lord has for each one. This mindset is shared by all who serve at Riverview Christian School from staff to volunteers. Our approach to teaching is to create an atmosphere of learning in the classroom that is dedicated to both well-rounded academia and Christ-centered education. In each of our classrooms, you will find all of the basic concepts for science, math, social studies, language arts, and electives that you are used to seeing in perhaps a public school setting. However, we teach all of these subjects from a biblical standpoint, with biblical values at the core. Our classes run on mutual respect between the teacher and the students, and push kids to succeed with high expectations that are followed through with at every level. We use a mix of Abeka and BJU Press for our core curriculum from preschool through 12th grade. Both programs have been leaders in Christian School Education for more than 60 years. Using a combination of these curricula for every grade level will benefit our students greatly and set them far apart as they prepare for their promising futures.

Every class begins with a daily Bible lesson (all classes are taught with a biblical worldview).
We have a variety of electives to enrich our students including middle school/high school woodshop & auto shop, Journalism, and Entrepreneurship. Culinary classes will be returning after the completion of our kitchen renovation.
Basic music is incorporated into all elementary classes (High School Praise Team is available to upperclassmen).
The Riverview Trapshooting Team meets in the spring and competes in the state tournament in June.​
We now offer dual-credit courses for pre-calculus, Spanish 1 & 2, literature, and writing through George Fox University and Southwestern Oregon Community College.

Our Spanish program encompasses Basic Elementary Spanish through High School Spanish 3 (all taught by a native speaker).​

Each year, we complete the TerraNova3 standardized testing in the spring. For the third year in a row, RCS has scored "WELL ABOVE AVERAGE" academically in all grades! We are so thankful for our parents and teaching staff who help to make this a reality!
